Annual Intermediate Exam to Commence Tomorrow, Preparation Complete

The district administration has made comprehensive arrangements to ensure a clean, peaceful, and fair conduct of the annual intermediate (theory) examination for the year 2022 in Buxar district. The examination is scheduled to begin on 1st February 2022 and will continue until 14th February 2022.

The exam will be held in two shifts, with the first shift taking place from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM and the second shift from 1:45 PM to 5:00 PM. A total of 23,810 students are expected to participate in the examination under the Buxar district.

Ahead of the exam, all teachers and staff appointed by the Centre Director of the exam centre will receive an introduction letter along with clear instructions to keep their introduction letters with them during the exam period. Additionally, students are permitted to wear shoes while entering the examination hall.

In adherence to COVID-19 precautions, this year’s exam will accommodate a maximum of two students per bench in the exam room/hall. Students have been instructed to maintain sufficient distance between benches. It is mandatory for students to enter the exam centre at least 10 minutes before the commencement of the exam, as latecomers will not be allowed to participate.

Due to the prevailing cold wave, the Secretary of the Bihar School Examination Committee, Patna, has granted permission for students to enter the exam hall wearing shoes.

To ensure smooth operations, three zones have been created in the Buxar subdivision and one zone in Dumraon subdivision. Zone officers will be continuously mobile in their respective zones. The District Education Officer is responsible for ensuring that all center directors provide proof of adequate arrangements for student facilities, such as drinking water, toilets, and lighting.

The District Education Officer will function as the Buxar District Examination Controller and will send a daily list of expelled students to the Secretary, Bihar School Examination Committee, Patna.

To securely store subject-wise and language-wise question-answer booklets after the exam, a brajgrih has been set up on the second floor of the collection office building (newly constructed police superintendent’s office).

During the exam period, media personnel will not be allowed to enter the examination area, and special surveillance will be maintained around exam centres and photocopy shops.

In addition, subdivisional officers and subdivisional police officers in Buxar and Dumraon will monitor cyber warriors via WhatsApp groups to promptly address any objectionable comments that may be received.

The district administration is committed to ensuring a smooth and fair examination process, providing a conducive environment for students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills. With the collective efforts of all stakeholders, the annual intermediate exam is expected to be a success, paving the way for the academic progress of the students.
